Grandmaster Kim's martial arts journey spans an impressive 50+ years, commencing at the tender age of 5. His relentless dedication to training and personal growth propelled him to become a teacher, coach, and eventually, a referee. In 1990, Grandmaster Kim brought his wealth of knowledge to South Florida, where he began imparting the art of Taekwondo. It was during this time that he crossed paths with Mrs. Kim, marking the inception of their shared legacy.

Grandmaster Kim's teaching philosophy extends to all walks of life, embracing students of various ages, law enforcement personnel, military members, individuals with special needs, and even the elderly. He firmly believes that the practice of Taekwondo not only contributes to physical well-being but also fosters mental longevity. Beyond his expertise in Taekwondo, Grandmaster Kim holds a Master's degree in Hapkido, Master Degree in Haidong Gumdo, and instructs in Yang Style Tai Chi.

His illustrious career includes notable roles such as Former USA Taekwondo Referee Chairman, Referee Instructor, Former PanAmerican Referee Vice-Chair, and International Referee S Class. The "S Class" is the highest level, and few have achieved this level of accomplishment. Attaining the esteemed rank of 9th Dan Grandmaster, Grandmaster Kim has received numerous accolades, including several Best Referee awards on both the national and international stages. Alongside his martial arts achievements, he takes pride in being a devoted father.

Master Kim, the son of Grandmaster Kim, shares his father's dreams and aspirations. Grandmaster Kim initiated Master Kim's Taekwondo training at the age of 2. Despite the apparent ease of Master Kim's skills, they were the result of relentless hard work, with Grandmaster Kim providing expert guidance to enhance both understanding and teaching techniques.

Master Kim's true passion lies in teaching and disseminating the art of Taekwondo to everyone he encounters. He firmly believes that through Taekwondo, individuals not only develop physical and mental capabilities but also foster a sense of community that lasts a lifetime.

Currently serving as the Headmaster at Kim’s Martial Arts, Master Kim brings over 20 years of Taekwondo experience to the table. He holds the prestigious rank of 5th Dan Master Kukkiwon and 5th Dan HanmooKwan. As a USAT National referee with an A rank, he has been honored with the Best Referee Award. His achievements include being a Former USA Taekwondo National Team Member in 2015, a Silver Medalist at the PanAmerican Championship in 2015, a Silver Medalist at the U.S. Open in 2014, and a Bronze Medalist at the USAT National in 2015.Master Kim is the Head coach of the KMA Team and has Coaches certification from USATAEKWONDO and AAU. Beyond his accomplishments in Taekwondo, he takes pride in being a devoted son.


Master Sara, the esteemed daughter of Grandmaster Kim, inherited the legacy of rigorous training from her distinguished lineage. From a young age, she immersed herself in the discipline of Taekwondo, cultivating a spirit of hard work and unwavering determination that continues to define her remarkable journey.

Master Sara's achievements span both the academic and martial realms. Graduating fifth in her class, she consistently earned a place on the President's List throughout her college career. Her commitment to excellence extends beyond the academic sphere as she pursues advanced studies at A.A. School.

As a testament to her martial prowess, Master Sara holds the esteemed rank of 4th Dan Master Kukkiwon and 5th Dan Master HanmooKwan. She has not only secured her place as a National Gold Medalist in American Taekwondo United but has also achieved gold in Poomsae and Sparring at the prestigious Yong In International Championship in 2015.

Master Sara's dedication to the art of Taekwondo is further exemplified by her role as a National Level Referee, a position earned through her exceptional skills, ultimately being honored with the best referee award. Her journey is a testament to the convergence of academic excellence, martial prowess, and a relentless pursuit of personal and professional growth.


Mrs. Kim, the cherished wife of Grandmaster Kim and doting mother to Master Kim and Sara, brings a wealth of warmth and experience to the realm of Taekwondo. Since her youth, Mrs. Kim has harbored a keen interest in Taekwondo, inspired by her brother's involvement in the martial art. This passion eventually led her to the opportunity to learn from Grandmaster Kim, further deepening her connection to the discipline.

Welcoming all with a radiant smile, Mrs. Kim extends genuine care and attentiveness to everyone she encounters. Her nurturing demeanor creates an inviting atmosphere, fostering open communication and camaraderie within the martial arts community.

Beyond her integral role as the heart of the Kim family, Mrs. Kim serves as the Office Manager at Kim's Martial Arts, where her 30+ years of business acumen contribute to the smooth operation of the establishment. Holding the esteemed rank of 1st Degree Black Belt, she embodies the martial spirit with grace and proficiency.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Mrs. Kim is a loving mother of four, demonstrating a remarkable balance between familial devotion and her commitment to the world of KMA Her multifaceted journey unfolds as a testament to the enduring power of passion, dedication, and the unbreakable bonds within the our community.
